Shape the story while it's young!
When you're on a job like this, of the "physical" variety, ye gotta make certain that you get paid as soon as it's done. Never mind when some arbitrary pickup was arranged. Best to make sure the customer doesn't get spooked and pretend none of it ever happened. I haven't threatened to kill anyone in a while, so this should be fun.
