Apetri: A kink in the sOUL

I sit in one place. All day. It's not good for me. And it sure as hell didn't prepare me for being stuck in a trunk for a couple of days. The kink in my back still hasn't gone away. It just goes on throbbing, like something is gnawing its way out. I suppose in there is about the only place worse than out here. This kink, it's the kind of twist you want to use a knife on. A tangled knot you just have to cut open.

No this can't be good. I think this will be with me for the rest of time. Add it to my long list of minor handicaps, none amounting to anything on their own, but all making me look and feel like a certified weirdo. Except, this one had nothing to do with my neural graft. Or maybe it does. Fuckin' ghost pain intensified by miles of wires. I could be all cured by now, but the damn network could still be buzzing with residual noise. They don't recommend trauma or stress after a neural graft. Good thing I'm perfectly calm. A singular purpose gives you that. The calm to extract revenge for a senseless act. He won't have any idea it's coming. For a moment I feel no pain.
